Visual Lab

In the visual lab, students explore visual metaphors for their lives through artistic expression.
By participating in the Visual Lab, students…
- Experiment with a variety of mediums (chalk, acrylics, watercolor, paint).
- Investigate culturally-relevant artists, art movements, etc.
- Expand definitions of artistic value (graffiti, etc.).
- Increase confidence and comfort in artistic ability.
- Develop abstract thinking.
- Learn to positively support their peers in the artistic process.
