The LAB @ Journeys
The LAB is an arts & wellness-based program serving youth with Emotional Behavioral Disorders, serving all the youth who attend school at Journeys Secondary School.
The LAB is housed/located within Journeys Secondary School, and provides 1×1 mentorships, weekly small group experiences and a daily class for students in our school.
The EBD category is a special educational label, Emotional/Behavioral Disorder, which can include any of the following:
a.) severely aggressive, hyperactive or impulsive behaviors;
b.) severely withdrawn or anxious behaviors; depression, problems with mood or feelings of low self-worth; or
c.) severely disordered thought processes; with unusual behavior patterns, and atypical communication styles.
