Ooooooh, Those are Some Good Poems

Hey all – It’s your resident student mentor writing to you from an office in the middle of 
Harding High School. I’m sitting here with one of our students on the Youth Advisory Team and we are both furiously pounding away at the keys of our computers, doing what we love best: putting words on paper…well, words on a screen, as it were…
This is where we’re heading; as I said in the last post, The Lab is moving forward technologically. The debate on the best way to let the creative energies flow out of you will most likely never end. Is is better to sit in a room alone in silence and write your thoughts out in an old leather-bound notebook? Or do you prefer to have some music going as you blast away at the keys of your computer? And what about typewriters? I know many writers who still prefer the patience forced upon them when using a typewriter.No matter which form our creative outpouring takes, today we are blogging away–never argued to be the most artful of endeavors. If you click on the Podcast link on the Homepage you’ll hear some creativity in one of The Labs newest additions. And one of those poems is from the student sitting here blogging now.
